    What is this place to me? It's simple, it scratches an itch when you don't have the time to drive all the way to Rosarito. Why, you ask? Well, Tacos El Yaqui is the king of the taco throne, sitting with pride on a mountain of five-star reviews and a line around the block. While not quite as good, Los Perrones makes a very similar version that is significantly closer, about the same price, and ultimately delicious. I love these tacos and I adore the city of Tijuana.

    Located in the revolution are of Tijuana you'll find many taco restaurants. We decided on this one and they were just ok to meh. They serve a complimentary beef both which was piping hot!! I did sip it after a few minutes and still burned my tongue. We all ordered the same thing as recommended by the waitress the house specialty Tacos Perrones. Which is a big taco with melted Monterey Jack cheese, beans, carne asada and guacamole. They are served with hand made flour tortillas, but they didn't taste like and didn't gave the texture of freshly made tortillas. The taco was over just mediocre, I knew after my first bite they I didn't want anymore and I said let's go to a different place. We ended up going down the block to get delicious tacos for 1/2 the price too! The staff was nice food was not great.

    Peores pinches tacos en Tijuana, ni en EEUU encuentras tacos tan malos.

    The worst tacos in Tijuana!!! They have a wood fire grill and yet they seem to boil their carne asada, WTF?!?!?! What kind of degenerate does that??? Do you also kick puppies??? Seriously, they tried to say they were Sonoran style, unless that's code for we don't have taste buds, that doesn't excuse serving this shit.

    One of my favorite taco spots when I come to TJ. Always get satisfied with 2 of their giant tacos Perrones. I've been here only a hand full of times once I did get a crappy waitress that must have been new or just didn't care about customer service. But the tacos and caldo is what keeps me coming back. I don't have to go all the way to Rosarito for them which is my favorite part. I love the mulitas! Both tortilla choices are on point. Horchata is great just all good food. I'm here right now and the service is a lot better then the last time I came (different server can make all the difference)
